Philadelphia is the 5th city to host the national ReelAbilities Film Festival, the largest festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. Initiated in NY in 2007, the festival presents award winning films by and about people with disabilities in multiple locations throughout each hosting city. Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.

Presented by JFCS Philadelphia, with the support of The JCC in Manhattan, The Saul Schottenstein Foundation B, J.E. & Z.B Butler Foundation, UJA Federation of NY, and Project Search, as well as numerous local organizations, ReelAbilities will feature films alongside special non-film programs (performing arts, live music, theatre performances and more), panel discussions with guest filmmakers, and educational programming in various locations throughout the city.
