Volunteer and Para-Chaplaincy

There are so many ways to make a difference at JFCS. JFCS counts on volunteers to keep JFCS programs going. By volunteering at JFCS you can enrich the lives of seniors, befriend someone with special needs, support adults and families through challenging times, perform occasional mitzvot for holidays, and so much more. Training opportunities are available for all volunteers.

Additionally, JFCS Para-chaplains are specially trained volunteers who work with Jewish residents in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices to bring a sense of Jewish community and a connection to Jewish practices to Jews who are ill or isolated.
