CENTER FOR SPECIAL NEEDS
- 139 clients were served through group programs, counseling, and care management services.
- 92% of clients attending socialization groups reported an increase in their socialization skills.
SERVICES TO SENIORS
- 92% of the 1,512 clients served remained living independently or decreased their sense of isolation and loneliness.
- 200 clients received reduced fare transportation services on a regular basis to medical appointments or food shopping.
ADULT AND FAMILY SERVICES
- Served 786 low-income clients through counseling and care management services.
- 965 of clients reported they benefitted from using our services and 97% said they would recomend JFCS to a family member or friend.
CHILD WELFARE SERVICES
- Managed the placement of 175 foster children placed in the care of JFCS foster families.
- Facilitated 30 adoptions through JFCS' State Wide Adoption Network (SWAN) services.
EDUCATION AND OUTREACH SERVICES
- 5,445 school-aged children and 1,465 teachers, school counselors, and parents participated in one or more workshops addressing peer mediation, healthly eating, teen pregnancy, and anti-bullying.
OPEN ARMS ADOPTION NETWORK
- Facilitated the adoptions of 21 babies into adoptive family homes.
- 89 women received counseling to explore their options during and post-pregnancy.
