Holocaust Survivors Matching Gift Program

JFCS has relied on support from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany (Claims Conference), which allocates funds to Agencies, like JFCS, that provide essential supportive services to Holocaust Survivors. However, in January 2009, it was announced that continued financial support would be predicated on a new system requiring Agencies to raise matching dollars. We rely on your support to help Holocaust Survivors receive assistance to live at home safely and with comfort and dignity.

Your gift allows JFCS social workers to provide information and referral, help with applying for reparations and other benefits, care management, in-home support, and social opportunities geared to Holocaust Survivors. In-home support services are provided to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping, and shopping. Emergency grants are available to assist with one time expenses related to health care or home maintenance.
