Community-Based Aging in Place Services

JFCS operates support programs for Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORC) in select locations throughout Greater Philadelphia including several high-rise buildings in Center City and Elkins Park, and the neighborhoods of the City Line area and Somerton/ Bustleton. JFCS works in partnership with the older residents of a neighborhood and their advocates to create an "aging friendly" community that supports its older residents.

JFCS' NORC support programs provide group health and wellness programs, individual social work consultation, home repair,limited transportation, as well as leadership to strengthen NORC support partnerships.

The Senior Reource Link provides services to residents 60 years of age or older who live within zip codes 19131, 19151, or 19004.

The Far Northeast Senior Network provices services to residents 60 years of age or older who live within zip codes 19114, 19115, or 19116.
