Jewish Community Services
Promoting, advocating, developing, and supporting Jewish tradition, values, and education in all phases of healing and helping throughout the life cycle.
JFCS' Jewish Community Services supports those seeking a Jewish connection in the midst of illness, death, isolation, loss, or institutionalization. Professional chaplains and volunteers offer a broad spectrum of practical, emotional, and spiritual services to meet the individual's unique needs, regardless of affiliation.
A Year of Program Impact:
7,850 residents/patients were visited in nursing homes, hospices, hospitals, and other care facilities through JFCS’ Chaplaincy program
208 volunteers and para chaplains were engaged in services to JFCS clients
468 one-way rides were provided to medical appointments through JFCS’ Volunteer Transportation Service, Silver Wheels
