COVID-19 Resources

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, JFCS is offering a variety of services and resources to help you navigate these difficult times. Whether you or someone you know are struggling with anxiety and isolation, looking for advice on applying for benefits, or a healthcare provider in need of support…we are here to help.

NEW! JFCS is now offering 15 minute self care check ins, please sign up if you need a safe space to talk about current stressors, pandemic related issues, or just vent. We are here to support you in your self care journey. Click here to schedule.

FOR THOSE IN NEED OF THERAPY
  • Telemental Health Counseling Sessions
    • Call our Care Navigation line at

  • Creative Connections
    • One-on-one integrated virtual art therapy sessions

FOR THOSE IN NEED OF SUPPORT
  • Bloom MomChat
    Weekly program for mothers of young children to discuss all aspects of motherhood from a real, therapeutic perspective.

  • Social Distancing Support Group
     A drop-in support group for adults experiencing stress around social distancing or need to connect with community

  • Staying Safe, Sane and Supported
    A drop-in support group for anyone struggling to maintain a sense of well-being in difficult times.

FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS OR THEIR SPOUSES/PARTNERS
  • Helping the Healthcare Heroes
    A variety of drop-in support forums for healthcare providers on the front lines of the pandemic and their spouses/partners

      • Tuesdays, 1-2pm
      • Tuesdays, 8-9pm
      • Wednesdays, 1-2pm
      • Wednesdays, 8-9pm
    • For Spouses/Partners of Healthcare Providers
      • Mondays, 8-9pm

FOR THOSE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ADVICE
  • Financial Support Group
    A weekly support group moderated by a certified financial social worker to address questions and fears about finances

    Weekly updates and information sessions on applying for benefits and finding additional resources during the pandemic

WAYS TO HELP
  • Donate to COVID-19 Emergency Need  Initiative
    As our community grapples with the current public health crisis, JFCS is assessing the needs of our clients daily. At this time, we must raise funds to purchase grocery store gift cards to assist vulnerable adults and families facing unexpected food insecurity as a result of the crisis. Click here
