A conversation on how the current public health crisis is affecting the LGBTQ+ community. Topics include isolation and loneliness due to COVID-19, coping strategies to deal with anxiety and stress, and platforms and resources for keeping the LGBTQ+ community connected.

This group builds ona a foundation that all participatns are experts in their own identities. No one member of the LGBTQ+ community has all of the answers – we need to work together to create a healthy and healing space. These meetings begin by focusing on the experience of the LGBTQ+ community during the COVID-19 crisis, but will have a flexible approach to subject and needs. This group meets via Zoom. Tzelem is a social and educational group for Jewish LGBTQ+ and allied teens. We’ll connect through our queer identities, and discuss topics like life transitions, health relationships, body positivity, self-compassion, mental health, Jewish identity, and more!
