JFCS created a therapeutic enrichment center for our community to help individuals of all faiths with an array of services to help cope with the challenges that arise throughout a lifetime.

Our custom facility provides as inviting, warm, and beautiful environment for programs, workshops, support groups, counseling and gatherings. We invite you to learn more about how you can volunteer, participate in programing, and attend one of our events.

Enrichment Center’s Beautiful Rooms and Services

Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Teaching Kitchen

Full Kosher kitchen with skilled kitchen manager and family table that provides life skills as well as serves as a place for isolated clients to eat with others.

Examples of Programing: Cooking on a budget • Holocaust Survivors sharing family recipes • Safe cooking for older adults • Social and kitchen skills training for those living with disabilities

Children’s Den

All-abilities area includes an indoor playground, cozy corner with hanging swing, sensory toys, and bookcases.

Examples of Programing: Adoption family stay and play • Mom’s chat group • Therapy playtime • Attachment through play

Therapeutic Art Studio

Studio out tted to enable expression through various mediums. Programming enhances clients’ psychological and physical health.

Examples of Programing: Painting with a mission • Sculpture for older adults • Art therapy for teens • Self-expression art for people living with disabilities

Oasis (Older Adults) Living Room

Cozy Library and seating area.

Examples of Programing: Discussion groups to help combat isolation • Book clubs • Community engagement discussions

Sidney Wolgin Financial Empowerment Center

Technology hub with nancial counseling rooms, complete with computer lab.

Examples of Programing: Financial literacy workshops • Computer skill assistance • Connecting clients to entitlements and public support

Carl and Mary Ellen Schneider Support Group Living Room

Comfortable living room setting for small support groups to come together.

Examples of Programing: Bereavement support • Parent support • Peer support • Transgender support • Adoption 101 information sessions

Judith W. and Murray H. Shusterman Community Room

Large open space with high technology capabilities to include full video screen, podium, and state-of-the-art sound. The room can seat 200 individuals auditorium style or 10 tables with seating for 10.

Examples of Programing: Social worker professional trainings • Lectures • Community service projects • Client holiday celebrations • “Our Closet” clothing donation sorting events

Carroll A. Weinberg, M.D. and Charlotte C. Weinberg Clinical Services Suite

Beautifully designed, intimate, and private individual rooms for counseling.

Examples of Programing: Depression/anxiety counseling • Family counseling • Domestic and intimate partner violence counseling
