Services for Older Adults
Help for our loved ones, or ourselves as we age
Helping older adults maintain their independence and dignity is a particularly meaningful component of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Philadelphia. In fact, our Older Adult Services mission is “to support older adults in their desire to age at home safely, with dignity, as vital members of their communities of choice.” We want older members of our community to live with pride and comfort. We want them to have access to specialized services if and when they need them. And should they require a more structured living environment, we can help ease the transition.
We provide services to older adults who are living in our community. JFCS receives referrals from senior centers, hospitals, other community organizations, family members, client self referrals and synagogues. We provide services to:
- Older adults 65+
- Holocaust Survivors
- Caregivers and families
- Communities with large older adult populations
